I can't believe how much my life has changed since Ava has arrived. It's funny how mommy mode just kicks into gear naturally. I'm not saying I'm some super mom or even claim to be doing a good job, but it feels like I've always been making bottles, getting up two or three times in the night, changing diapers, and doing endless loads of laundry.
It's definitely been fun watching Noah with her. He talks so sweet to her and she gives him big big smiles when she recognizes his voice. He calls her his princess. I've been calling her my little monkey. I wonder which name will stick with her.
She is super cute Julia! Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Julia! Sweet baby girls are the best. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're adjusting well with all of life's changes. I overheard Randy say in the early months "If I knew how great this was going to be, we might have had babies sooner!" Be blessed with God's precious gift to you...even in the middle of the night!
Take care,
Becky (Kathryn's sister)
Thanks Eunice! Congrats to you too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky! You're right, baby girls are the best :) Noah and I are both adjusting well to being parents. Luckily, Ava has been such a good baby. I can't imagine our lives without her and I bet you feel the same way about Halley. I love seeing all the pics of her. She's too adorable!
I know exactly how you feel. I read so many books when DJ was prego about how to be a parent, but it's weird how parenthood instincts naturally kick in once your baby arrives. And it's funny...you get up multiple times a night, you're always tired as hell, and your elbow deep in baby poop...but you don't care because it's all for your baby! It's like you're happy to do it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations again mommy...she's BEAUTIFUL!
