We had an overall wonderful Christmas (aside from a scary ER visit with Lily). Jeremiah (Noah's brother) and Taylor (Noah's sister) came to visit. We hung out and took the kids to The Festival of Lights on Hutchinson Island. I was able to get together for a mini family reunion with my Dad's side and chowed down on oysters and blue crab!
Lily has been teething and developed a slight fever. It spiked on Christmas Eve! She had a seizure from the high fever and we ended up taking her to the ER. After being observed she was fine and we continued to monitor her fever. It was not a fun experience.
But even with that, our Christmas was great. We put the girls to bed and Noah and I set out all the presents. It was fun to see Ava and Lily's excitement!

Lily still wasn't 100% better and she tuckered out pretty fast! Poor baby!
We left the day after Christmas to visit friends and family in Virginia. It was nice to spend a whole week there and have enough time to make all our rounds with people.
I am definitely exhausted but as I was putting away my Christmas tree I was super sad at how fast it went by and how far it seems away until next time.
I hope to jot down a few New Years resolutions and share it with you all in my next post.
