Who Knew?
When I first created an account on Instagram I thought it was used for fun filters. I had no idea what the point of followers were. No one liked any on my pictures.
It has grown into so much more for me. It has allowed me to meet such a wonderful community of ladies full of creativity, positivity and friendship. I have been so inspired by this community that consists of women all over.
It gave me the confidence to open an Etsy shop, which has been so much fun! It's completely rewarding to make pretty things for my customers.
I credit Instagram for also helping me venture out and try new things as well. I've made connections with a few different vendors and most recently I joined the Everywhere Society. I was approached by the agency to join them as one of their blogger correspondents for special events by their clients. I was in complete shock as I was about to just dump my inbox full of spam email and stopped to read one. I can probably count on my fingers how many people actually read my blog but somehow this marketing agency was reaching out to me. I was also very flattered to learn it was not just another spam email and they had genuine interest.
I gave it some thought and went online to check out their blog and their website to see what Everywhere is all about. They are the new generation of marketing agency to include all the social media outlets out there today. They have big name companies for clients and have been successful in their execution.
I am thrilled at becoming a member of the society. It will allow me to meet new people and new opportunities. So you may see me "Everywhere" Stay tuned to see how this relationship develops!

Vacation Rewind: Florida 2014
Wow, just signed into the dashboard to find out my last post was from April!? Geez, I've been failing at this whole blogging thing. I don't mean to, but honestly, with my two kids who give me no me-time in the evenings, it's pretty darn difficult to get to a computer.
I have so much to catch you guys up on. I'll split them all up in a few posts!
First, we just got back from vacation. Bummer, back to the real world! We had a good time though. We stayed in Tampa for a couple of days and soaked up some sun and did some shopping. We then drove to Pensacola to visit with Noah's brother, Jeremiah and his boyfriend, Jeremy. We went to the beach and I have to say it was so much prettier than the beach we have in Savannah. The sand was so soft and white and the water was super blue and beautiful. Finally, we headed to Destin for a wedding. I've never been there before so I was looking forward to it. We made it to the beach and then on Saturday we attended a beach wedding. It was a lot of fun to celebrate with some close friends.
Here are some pictures of our week!
We went out in Pensacola for a night. Check out this black tee club we got going on! I had one on too. None of it was on purpose, hahaha!
The wedding was on the beach. We thought it might rain, but the rain stopped just in time for the ceremony. It turned out perfect!

The girls had a blast. They are such water babies!

The newlyweds, Shannon and Matthew!
We had a great time with Jeremiah and Jeremy. They let us take over the house and the both girls loved their time with their uncle Bubba!
