It's Friday, I'm in Love!

Mellow Yellow

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I just came back from a mini vacation with the family and I'm already looking forward to the next one. I think my next big break will be when our little princess arrives this May/June!

As promised, I wanted to share this pretty mustard embroidered dress with you! I love the color and the detail of this dress so much. Being pregnant I go for pieces that are easy and comfortable. This dress will totally be worn after the baby arrives too this summer!

Ava's 7th Birthday

Over the weekend we celebrated Ava's 7th birthday. It feels like only yesterday I found out I was pregnant with her and now she's suddenly a little lady who loves making music videos on her iPod and picking out her pre-teen outfits decked out in all the accessories!

Ava makes us proud every day. She has the sweetest personality (when she gets her beauty rest) and we couldn't ask for a better big sister to her siblings.

We hosted her first slumber party and it went so well! I had fun planning her Beauty and the Beast themed party in celebration of the premiere of the live action remake of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.  Confession - I may have been more excited for it than she was!

Here are some party details. I loved how our enchanted tablescape turned out. Ava felt like a real princess and she told me the last three days has been the best days of her life! It makes all the planning worth it! We had a great time celebrating our favorite 7 year old!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone and Happy Friday! Today, I'm sharing my current Friday favorites! Anyone else loving the embroidery trend? I wonder if this shirt would fit over my belly? I think it's too cute!

Floral Dress Part 2

Changing up accessories is the best way to create new looks. In my last post I was going for a more casual vibe but for a dressier look I just traded the sneakers and hat for pink wedges and a structured handbag. Now, I'm ready for brunch with the girls or a day date with hubby!

Floral Dress Part 1

Give me all the floral prints during spring time! The azaleas in Savannah are in full bloom and I love it! I picked up a couple of dresses lately from Old Navy and this floral dress got my attention right away! This isn't a maternity dress but the swing style works perfect for my growing bump.


I wanted to show you it only takes a few accessories to change up an entire look. For a more casual vibe I added sneakers and a hat. The earrings are just the right pop of pink to bring out the pink flowers in this dress, I love it! I want them in all the colors!

Versatile Vest

I bought this sleeveless green trench vest last year and I love how versatile it is. Even with my growing belly I can layer it over my t-shirt dress for a more put together outfit!

It's been awhile since I've taken photos for the blog. It was great to get behind the camera again and shoot in beautiful downtown Savannah. Jones Street has the most gorgeous row of houses and the street is lined with cobblestones!

This was the first time shooting outfits since learning I was expecting too!
